4 Feb 1834. Moving
the camp has been a tremendous strain to the crew they complain of fatigue.
I do not know what to give them the Doctor has taught me how to make bitter
placebos I am prescribing those.
9 Feb 1834. The
swaggering fellows being incessory for their draughts, I have given one
the corrosive sublimate and this having its desired effect all the men
now avoid.
14 Feb 1834 the
ringing now as I cannot recall his name and the tremor angry.
