THIS PROGRAM REPLACES THE
OLD CHEMBIO PROGRAM!
A new, improved CHEMBIO program is now available! It is a group
program that drives almost every probe we use in biology experiments.
It can either be downloaded
from
the vernier web site or purchased on disc from Vernier.
It loads onto your TI Graphing Calculator from a PC or Mac using
Graph Link.
If you can't download the programs from the WEB, ask Vernier's
for the Vernier CBL Data Collection Disk. (order
#CBL-DP-M for the MAC or #CBL-DP -I for the IBM computers.
Like the old program, you can monitor input and do time graphs
with all the probes. Data can be imported, exported, analyzed,
processed, or transfered to the Graphical Analysis for further
processing and printing. This new program should replace the
older program.
Since two of the labs for this web session were designed using
the old program, slight modifications to the procedures may be
needed. However, this program can easily be used for all three
CBL labs described, and because of its versatility and power,
it use is highly recommended. Once students become familiar
with this program, they will be able to set up their CBLs, calculators
and probes in just a few minutes. Try it -- you'll like it!
